Georges van Campenhout passed away

On April 28 our member Georges van Campenhout passed away, after a struggle he could not win.

Georges (Joris for his friends) was an early member of Radiomuseum (his ID was 625), who contributed a lot with a.o. more than 300 new Belgian radio models (especially R.R. Radio). He was active until almost his last day.

Georges was also very active as member of the Olen's Radio Museum in Olen (B). He shared his technical knowledge via many articles in the museum magazine "De Marconist".

He was also involved in the "Omroepmuseum" in Leuven (B).

Georges was a helpful and very pleasant person and will be dearly missed.
