- Notes
- The Precision Equipment Company Type AVC Regenerative Receiver consists of the Type AVA Regenerative Receiver and the Type ATC Detector Cabinet together in a split panel single cabinet arrangement. The AVA covers the 175-475 meters wavelength range. There was also available the matching Type A-2 two stage audio amplifier if the user desired to use an external speaker. Since we found no such offer from Crosley, we do not list it for Crosley.
For details see the Article Crosley radio models - sources for the beginning 1921-1930. This model was listed in "Radio Collector's Guide 1921-1932" under Crosley. For Precision Equipment Co. there is only a notice on page 137: "See Crosley Radio Corp". But that is a later story. Since many collectors will search correctly under ACE, we list it twice, for ACE and for Crosley despite the fact that we could not find an ad for Crosley for this model. As a reference work we have to show it under Crosley too.
