- This model employs a separate Multistat for each tube, hence prmitting any mix of tubes. The Multistat is a rheostat with two different sections: from the "off" position the first 55% swing got 24.5 Ohms (for dry battery tubes) and the remaining 55% swing got ca. 3 Ohms (for storage battery types).
The Crosley IV 2-Stage Audio Amplifier was designed to match up uniformly with any of the Crosley receivers such as the V or the VI. The VI receiver and the IV 2-Step amplifier were electrically equivalent to the Crosley Model X. (VI+IV=X) or 6+4=10
