  • Dioden: 2x OA172, BA102, 2x BA100. Dreh- und schaltbare Ferritantenne; Stereo-NF-Verstärker mit 2 Gegentakt-Endstufen je 8 W. Mit Decoder 4 oder 5 kommt zur Gesamt-Bestückung noch eine ECC81 hinzu. Stereo-Anzeigeinstrument.

    Das Stereo-Anzeigeinstrument ist ein Drehspulinstrument.

    Das Gerät verfügt über eine abschaltbare AFC durch Eindrücken des Senderwahlknopfes. Eine Leuchtanzeige oberhalb des Stereo-Anzeigeinstruments signalisiert das.

    Eine TA-Buchse für magn. TA ist vorbereitet, an die optional der Vorverstärker für magn. TA MV 1 angeschlossen und im Gerät verbaut nachgerüstet werden konnte.

    Eine Buchse für den Anschluß eines Hall-Geräts ist vorhanden. Es kann das Grundig HSV 1 angeschlossen werden. Die Hall-Intensität wird vom Radio aus (linke Seite Drehregler Lautstärke/Balance/Hall) geregelt.

Please consider text edit change for US variant model 5490St/U as follows: Valves/Tubes - 13: same as 5490Stereo with 2xELL80 output tubes replaced by 4xEL95 power pentodes.
Wave bands MW, KW1, KW2, KW3, and UKW should read BC, S1, S2, S3, and FM (88mhz to 108 mhz). The Stereo-Decoder 4 or Stereo-Decoder 5 may be installed.

Complete original Grundig schematic for the AM/FM Super 5490St/U is being scanned - and will be submitted shortly.
