I thing it is better to call it Z5 ,like Z5K and Z6.

Looking for Z5 you find only a glass tube.

Good morning Hans,

There are several devices with Z5 in the name and we have to account for that:

1. There is a Philips tube from 1927 with the name Z5. It is a tube a.o. used by Idzerda.

2. Furthermore we have a zener diode Z5 from a much later date. In order not to confuse the tube and the zener diode, RMorg gave the diode the name Z5_Z-Diode.

Search for Z5 with the option "Search for a tube/valve" ("Starts with") and you will see a large variety of devices (tubes and semiconductors) with Z5 in the first position of the name.
