Ich besitze und pflege eine größere Privatsammlung von historischen Röhrenempfängern, Tonbandgeräten, Messgeräten (insbesondere Oszillographen) und Anderem. Außerdem bin ich im Besitz einer umfangreichen Röhrensammlung. Die Reparatur sowie Restauration meiner Exponate beanspruchen einen Großteil meiner Freizeit. Größere Menge an Literatur, wie "Lehrbuch der Elektronenröhren" (H. Barkhausen, 1933), Lehrbuch der Funkempfangstechnik" (Helmut Pitsch, 1959) und "Die Mathematik des Funktechnikers" (Otto Schmid, 1940) u.v.m., sind auch vorhanden. Die Sammlung besteht seit 1985 und hat derzeit einen Umfang von ca. 200 Apparaten. Das erste Gerät war das Modell Komet 55 der Firma Loewe Opta (siehe Sammlung). Dieses Radio bekam ich damals von meiner Tante geschenkt. Weil mir das Gerät einst den Anstoß zum Sammeln gab, möchte ich hiermit die Sammlung meiner Tante Katharina (1922-2014, Fronhausen/Lahn, Deutschland) widmen. .
