Below you find a part of the radio collection Bruce Cox - including other related items. I designed an audio amplifier that puts out over 100 watts. It uses a solid state HV power supply and (2) 6L6GC output tubes. It is based on a Heathkit A9C amplifier. I listen to it daily! I am in the process of restoring a Sweeny theatre tube amp (it looks like a robot and uses a 5Z3 and type 42 tubes). I have already restored a Sales On Sound theatre tube amp. I believe these are both from the 1930s. I just bought an RCA radio model R-78 and will be restoring it soon. |
