In 1976 he received the Italian ministerial authorizations for the operation of amateur stations with I7ECU name , and, later , IU0 EYL . In 1984 he completed his studies with a degree in history of science in Bari ( Italy ) discussed the developments of the electromagnetic theories of the ether until 1905 . In 1984 he received a master's degree in history of science with a thesis on the ether theories of the English physicist Joseph Larmor at the Institute of History of Science of Pisa. He has played for over 30 years the activity of Institutional Senior Adviser, Project Financing and Management. Expert of human resources and professional training; author of many international and institutional cooperation projects with the United Nations and European Union. Since 2011 he held in Rome recovery activities , and the collection of historical and cultural enhancement of antique radios . In 2016 he initiated a cultural workshop with exhibition space in via A. Brunetti in Rome . In 2017 He has published the book "Le onde smarrite della Tenda Rossa" a complete study about the radio of the airship "Italia" polar expedition (1928). Other books of Claudio Sicolo are: "Il dirigibile Italia - la sfida della radio al Polo Nord", 2018; "Umberto Nobile e l'Italia al Polo Nord", 2020; "Pagine di storia in memoria di Guglielmo Marconi alle origini della sua fama", 2024.
