Below you find a part of the radio collection David Tickner - including other related items.

I am an ill retired service engineer and have been fixing radios, tv and video since the 70's for a local firm. My illness ended this in 1997 and have always had a passion for fixing things from those earlier years, TV's from the mid 50's (Murphys) many germanium (and older) radios blown up due to reverse battery connections, the list goes on. My favourite patch up was a 70,s chess game from the US with a blown up display/button code IC using discrete parts. I have piles of old general parts still including some valves plus keeping an old battery valve radio going (DK, DL etc)
