Below you find a part of the radio collection Rafal Pietkiewicz - including other related items. My radio or military communication hobby is the aftermath of a family tradition - service in signal corps. Personally in reserve. I’m focusing on collecting, operating and restoring of military radios and communication equipment (wire and wireless), which was used by Polish Armed Forces - all years. I was also a regular and now occasional volunteer in military museums. I am a devoted fan of less or more historic military motorization, especially the one related to communications - whenever possible I try to renovate my GAZ-69M vehicle in the R-125PM (R-104M + 2x R-109M) variant and UAZ-469 in the RD-115z (R-130M + R-123 + R-107) variant. More modern MB 250GD Funk 2 (2x SEM-80) is also in possession. All vehicles have most of the communication equipment. I am a big fan of field days using historical communications equipment. Always willing to share materials, data and knowledge/ experience. Still looking for collector's curiosities to buy, rebuild or exchange. You can reach me at gaz69mrd115 (at) gmail (dot) com |
