Below you find a part of the radio collection Randy Gentry - including other related items.

I have been building computers since 1992. At this time I assist Senior and youth groups who have hardware and software problems with no charge and always free. If anyone wants the experience of building their own computer system I will invite them to my home workshop. At my workshop I will walk them step by step through the process of ordering computer components and when the parts come in I will assist step by step in the actual build. I let them do the hands on building and assist when necessary so that there are no problems at boot up time. They are allowed to use my tools and electronic service components at the workshop for no charge. I want to extend PC experience and knowledge as much as possible in my humble situation on this island. I have been interested in old radios since 1992 when I purchased antique radio in New Zealand. YouTube provides some great knowledge but not nearly enough. I regularly study radio books and publications but still do not have enough current knowledge to safely work on antique radios. At this particular time I want to expand my knowledge of tube radios and television repair and restoration as a hobby(as if my PC work is not enough). I think I will enjoy this website immensely and appreciate any assistance and knowledge that is the result. I am in awe of the information presented at radiomuseum.org and hope to contribute as my personal experience and qualifications grow. The radio that I am uploading photos of was purchased in New Zealand in 1992 on a trip for our 25th anniversary. I now know that I greatly overpaid for the radio and badly packed shipping. We are now coming up on our 50th anniversary and my wife really wants the radio restored by May 6, 20017. In the years since 1992 we have been collecting old tube radios and have a small collection waiting restoration. I want the Courtaney Model 66R to be the first restored radio in our collection. Since mt retirement I have been hit with horrible health problems that have left me in a massive pain and in a wheelchair on oxygen 24 hours a day, I still endeavor to continue my volunteer computer work with no letup and look forward to radio work. So at this time, Aloha from Maui
