Qui sotto trovi parte della collezione di radio e altri apparecchi di Tim Mangold I enjoy audio equipment, and have been moving towards more tube-driven equipment than solid state in recent years. I have tinkered with solid state equipment doing simple 'mechanical' repairs, now starting to work on some of the old tube equipment I have gathered in the past, and continue to seek out. I am hopeful to earn free membership, since I don't do the paypal thing or otherwise online payments. I have a list of my radio models which I will supply in the email, and took several pictures to upload to add to the knowledge base. I also have several books and printed materials including stringing guides that I have found at auctions and thrift stores, which I can try to upload or at least scan cover and contents, so that if a specific diagram is needed I can upload. Not sure if you want uploads of those kind of things, but that I have. I do not have schematics, that is my real need, schematics and dressing/alignment guidance. So far I have been working on some AA5 radios, taking precaution to confirm no hot chassis, etc. I made a dim bulb tester, too, which I love. It has enabled me to do soft power ups on some of my older radios with minimal fear of a ruinous short. My favorite start up was my Philco model 620 code 121, which lit the dial, and gave a faint hum but no tuning yet, that will be another day. |
