Croatian Radio (Croatian: Hrvatski radio) is the official broadcasting service of Croatia. Founded on May 15, 1926 as Zagreb Radio, it's the first radio station in all of Southeast Europe. It's part of Croatian Radiotelevision.

The broadcast, which began with just one channel that could be listened to only in Zagreb and northern Croatia, today makes 16 radio channels sent out on FM, DAB+, satellite and the Internet.

International channels

The Voice of Croatia channel broadcasts 24 hours a day via the Internet and satellites for Croatian diaspora and the international public. In English, German and Spanish. It informs the audience about current events in Croatia with plenty of content from other radio channels.In Europe, North Africa, the Middle East on the Eutelsat 16A at 16 degrees east

The clips are from an analogue wideband recording of the entire medium wave band with a video recorder, based on a suggestion by Jakob Roschy in 2005 Durchstimmen eines Radios - im www hörbar gemacht.

After digitisation in March 2021, the clips were extracted using a software-defined radio (STM125-14, Red Pitaya), see post 10 in Recording the ges. LW- + MW -Band.
