History:

The "Electron Audion" tube was sold by Radio Apparatus Company, Broad and Cherry Street, Philadelphia, PA (amongst others?). It is claimed to be high vacuum and there were three types: A Super sensitive detector or amplifier, Supersensitive oscillators for undamped wave reception and combination bulbs. They had a double filament, but could be ordered with a single filament for $1 less. See datasheet.
