There is also the Blue Seal Manufacturing Co. in Chicago, which made radios in the 1920s. We don't believe the two companies are related.

Founded: 1931
History:

The Cineglow Three Element Recording Lamp is used for optical sound recording on positive film.

It makes use of a separate ionizing electrode which prevents the lamp from extinguishing on lower wave peaks. The recording system utilizes the Cineglow optical slit with an aperture of .00075 inches.

In 1931, they offered two types of the lamp: Cineglow Type T9 with 6 inches, and Type T8 with 4 inches length. In 1936, they advertised the Cineglo X9 three element recording lamp as a high fidelity ulta violet modulating light source.

The 1943 address is from a classified ad where Blue Seal offered a Ford 1.5 ton Sound Truck equipped with the latest Blue Seal noiseless variable area recording equipment.
