Tolana was a maker of (professional) audio equipment, such as reel-to-reel tape recorders, recording tapes, blank discs for record cutting and other products.

In 1935 they offered a recorder chassis to be used in radio receivers (likely a disc cutter).

They also sold equipment for cinemas, such as 16 mm film cameras (e.g. for the R.T.F.), amplifiers etc.

History:

The company was acquired by Schlumberger in ca. 1961.
