Shàng​hǎi ​上海: Shanghai is a municipal city in East China, abbr. to 滬｜沪. As municipality it is directly under the central government, without being part of a province but its own government can be in a certain district, here it is Huáng​pǔ​ District 黄浦区, trad. 黃浦區 in central Shanghai.
无线电厂, trad. 無線電廠 = Wú​xiàn​diàn ​无线电 = Wireless (we call it Radio, because most used); Chǎng 厂 = Factory (yard / depot / workhouse / works / (industrial) plant​).

History:

The Shanghai Radio Factory 上海无线电厂 was established in 1953 with this name. The factory is formerly also known as manufacturer of military receivers (~1950) like the model 222-1.
In 1957 it moved from Shanghai to Hankou (Wuhan City, Hubei Province) and was renamed as Hankou Radio Factory 汉口无线电厂. For radios then the brands Shanghai 上海, Dongfanghong 东方红, Weixing 卫星, Donghu 东湖 etc. were used.
