The Company was set up by John Wishaw & John Wetherell who were both Radio Telegraphists in the Royal & Australian Navy’s respectively.  [1]

In 1923 as business increased, they moved to new premises at 919 Hay Street Perth. [2] They manufactured WISCO receiving sets and for a period and also manufactured radios for Batyphone. They also manufactured portable sets for use by the Forestry Department. In late 1925 Batyphone decided to manufacturer its own radios and this forced the company to downsize and John Wetherell left for government job in Sydney. John Wishaw continued in the business till the early 30’s.[3]
