In October 1929, Stokoe Motors was formed and owned by Mr V Le R Stokoe. On the 1st November, 1929, Stokoe Motors Pty .Ltd. was awarded Metropolitan Distributors for Chevrolet and Oldsmobile cars and trucks by GM Australia. Newspaper advertisements show the sold GM vehicles and later Chrysler vehicles up until 1958. |
