History:

A.T Swales and Allen Swann started manufacturing transformers as Swales and Swann in 1946. [1] The company was registered in November 1947 as Red Line Equipment Pty. Ltd, incorporating Swales and Swann, with Directors Allen T Swann, TM Eberhard, GV Harris & ME Massey.[2]

In the early 1970’s the company became a subsidiary of GEC-AEI (Australia) Pty Ltd.[3]

Allen Swann also founded Radio Parts Pty. Ltd.
