History:

Belind (Belgrade Electronic Industry) was founded in 1959 by a merger of the smaller units Nikola Tesla, Pupin, Pionir and Avala, which were more in the nature of development laboratories rather than commercial manufacturing units. [1][2]

The company as an independent company existed until 1962, when it merged with the RR Institute  from Niš to form Elektronska Industrija (Ei).
