Riassunto:

Argus Radio Corporation
25 W. 18th St., New York City, NY (1925) [1]
257 W. 17th St., New York City, NY (1926-1929) [2,3]

The Argus Radio Corp. was founded in 1924 by Dr. Marcel Wallace, P. Segaller, and M.R. Ziegler. [4]

They manufactured radios in the mid to late 1920's.  Known as one of the first to patent, manufacture, and sell an AC powered radio, eliminating the need for batteries.

Dr. Wallace also invented the Panoramic Spectrum Display (early spectrum analyzer) and later founded, in 1938, the Panoramic Radio Corp.

In 1934, General Television and Radio Corp. (NYC) is listed at 267 W. 17th St., and later, about 1939, they are listed at 257 W. 17th St., which was the last known Argus address.  This was during the difficult times of The Great Depression so it is unknown whether Argus survived this long and was acquired by General Television and Radio Corp., or had gone out of business earlier in the 1930's.  In any case, Dr. Wallace had moved on in 1938 to found a new company.
