History:

In 1919 W.G. Keogh made a two year tour of the USA and made a close study of radio reception and transmission. On his return he was employed by Grace Bros. Ltd., in charge of their radio department. In early 1924 he toured the country with a multivalve receiver which proved very popular and in September 1924 registered Keogh Radio Supplies.[1][6]

The company sold 2 to 6 valve radio sets direct to the public.

From February 1927 to 1928 the company advertised the Keogh Radio Sets were designed by Charles W. Slade. [2]

Prior to working for Keogh, Slade was Technical Editor for the Wireless Weekly and Daily Telegraph Radio Supplement from 1925 till 1926 and after, in 1929 formed Slade Radio, manufacturing radios and test equipment.

Keogh Radio Supplies was registered as a proprietary limited company in June 1929 with Albert Clyde Anderson as First Director.[3]
