A small company near Plymouth who produced a small range of loudspeakers, a turntable and a tonearm under the Heybrook brand name (named after Heybrook Bay, near to the factory).

The company changed its name to Heybrook Hi-Fi Limited in November 1985 and was later taken over by Audio Group International.

Heybrook Hi-Fi Ltd. was disolved in 2000.

History:

The company was founded by Peter J Comeau and Stuart Mee in 1978 and went into production in 1979. Their first product was the Heybrook HB2 loudspeaker.

By 1982, the HB2 had been joined by the HB1 and HB3 loudspeakers, the TT2 turntable and the Heybrook tonearm.

This manufacturer was suggested by Howard Craven.
