Établissements J. E. Junot The Junot triodes with two filaments were presented by Péricaud and manufactured (presumably, later also distributed) by the company of engineer J.E. Junot. Tyne writes in the "Saga of the Vacuum Tube" on page 414 that Junot tubes were sold by G.M.R., for which we don't have evidence. In the Netherlands, they were sold by the firm Van der Meer & Kars, Koninginnenweg 12, Hilversum (1924). See also Péricaud. |

Péricaud advertised the tube Le Triode with two filaments in May 1923. At the Foire de Paris that same month, the "Triode Junot" was presented by Péricaud. The magazine "La Nature" published a short article about the Junot triode in November 1923, giving Péricaud as the manufacturer. This is probably in error. Péricaud's radio catalog dated 15. April 1924 lists two Junot tubes: detector and amplifier. In October 1924, Junot introduced a new model of the Triode with low consumption of 0.07 A. |
