The Compagnie Continentale Amplion was founded on January 16, 1925. Établissements Belges Amplion were the distributors for Belgium and Luxembourg.

In 1927, the Compagnie Continentale Amplion controlled all the subsidiary companies on the European continent except for Amplion France.

End of March 1931 the establishment was put into liquidation, the proceedings concluding January 1933.
