Founded: 1884
History:

1884 - established as Everett and Co after Edgar Isaac Everett left The Cambridge Scientific Instrument Company to set up his own business.

1900 - Company formed when Edgar Isaac Everett trading as Everett and Co joined with Kenelm Edgcumbe and formed Everett, Edgcumbe and Co.

1906 - Became limited company with Patrick Hamilton.

1910 - Exhibited at the Physical Society's Exhibition - the Trotter portable photometer, a trolley standard leakage detector for use by tramways, an accelerometer, a rotary synchroniser for paralleling of alternators [1]

The company took over the manufacture of Radiolab Valve Testers in 1934.[2]

1937 - Electrical and mechanical engineers. "Dwarf" Indicators. "Radiolab" Radio Testing Apparatus. "Superscale" Electrical Measuring Instruments. "Synclock" Electric Clocks.[1]
