At least in 1950, Scientific Electric was a division of the "S" Corrugated Quenched Gap Co. at 107 Monroe. They sold  Vacuum Tube Bombarders or Induction Heating Units for tube manufacture.

The brand Scientific Electric also was used for tubes.

There is also a Scientific Electric Inc. (est. 1941) in New York working in Electrical Contracting, which may or may not be the same company.

According to information located by the US Library of Congress, the company was listed in the telephone books for the years 1949, 1952, 1959, 1965, 1972 and 1975 as being at 111 Monroe St for the entire time. The  January 1969 issue of the D & B Credit Reference book  lists them with the SICE code no 3662 as Radio and Television Transmitting  Signalling and Detection Equipment and Apparatus.
