Company was founded In 1945 like Spółdzielnia Pracy „Radiotechnik” as a repair shop of broadcasting station Polskie Radio Katowice. The activity area included a/o repairing of post-German radio receivers and soon afterwards a production of its own radio receivers called „Karlik”. In 1952 company was moved to Tychy and renamed to Spółdzielnia Pracy Piezoelektronika. Among others they produced TV transmitting stations too. Piezo parts were used in ultrasonic changers, gramo pick-up, mining industry telephones. In 1964 it was transformed into the Zakład Elektroniki Górniczej (Mining Electronic Factory) under a new short name ZEG. Production f.e. mining sparkfree telephone, during 70`s speialized to PC, control and automotion systems. Since 1989 company was transformed a few times, now it is ELGÓR + HANSEN S.A. under the Famur Capital Group. |
