Founded: 1933
Production: 1933 -
History:

The company was founded by Norman Partridge, B.Sc., A.M.I.E.E. in the early 1930s to manufacture transformers.

In 1949 the company opened a factory in Tolworth Surrey with Trefor WILLIAMS, B.Sc., A.M.LE.E., as Chief Engineer.

They manufactured high-quality power and audio transformers.

Norman Partridge wrote two booklets prior to WW2,  The P.A. Manual, and The Partridge Amplifier Circuits, both of which had a broad appeal.

After the war, the Partridge Manual was introduced to replace the two. The designs in these books were implemented by other manufacturers using the Partridge transformer products.

This manufacturer was suggested by Gary Cowans.
