The predecessor company of "KENOTRON" Plants was established in the mid of 1920`s as Polish Radio Technical Plant "KENOSTAL" in Warsaw. Initially, as a representative office of the French transformer factory "Stal" and later radio tube factory "Radiotechnique". In 1928 company has began cooperation with the Parisian radio devices company "Kenotron" as their general representative for Poland. The Radio Technical Plant "KENOTRON" Sp. z o.o. was established at the beginning of 1932. Since 1933 they started production of own radio models, based on components from Polish manufacturers. After 1934 company did not more offered French radio models. Since 1935 as a sole owner became Benedykt Rawicki, he was a founder of another company Polskich Zakładów „Croix”, Polskiej Fabryki Kondensatorów „Filtrad” and „RADIO – UNION”. WWII terminated company activities. |
