Founded: 1981

History:

Crystal oscillators were produced in Switzerland, while crystal units and clock oscillators were manufactured in the UK by its sister company, MC Knight Fordahl Ltd.
In 1991, Fordahl SA bought the oscillator production equipment, know-how and products of Newmarket Microsystems Ltd (formerly Newmarket Transistors Ltd).

The company specialized in manufacturing miniature frequency control products including crystals, crystal oscillators, TCXOs, VC-TCXOs, VCXOs, and OCXOs used in telecommunications, data communications, timing, navigation, military, aerospace, and instrumentation systems.

In January 2011, CTS Corporation, Lisle, IL, USA, acquired Fordahl in order to expand its technology and customer base within the components and sensor segment.

This manufacturer was suggested by Bruce Taylor.
