Facility was established on 13th April 1977 based on construction institutе for semiconductor engineering, including experimental plant Elling and affiliated company Disk for development and test production of semiconductor devices and ICs.

Since 1983 their portfolio was increased by optoelectronic devices, since 1987 also by nanotechnology.

After political changes on beginning of 90`s they can not keep up steps with foreign technologies, company changed its legal status a few times to bussiness out of electronics and went bankrupt.
