Michigan Radio Corporation was founded around 1913 by Milhart Klicpera. See Alan Douglas, "Radio Manufacturers of 1920's", Vol. 2., 1989 at page 167 etc. As Klitzen Wireless Apparatus Co, advertised Rotary Spark Gap unit in QST, February 1916, No. 202 Undamped Wave Coupler in QST, December, 1916. Incorporated as Klitzen Radio Manufaturing Co. in October 1919, and obtained an Armstrong license. Advertised regenerative set in Radio Amateur News, April 1920. Sold regenerative tuner and detector-amplifer through Barawik 1921 and Montgomery Ward in 1921 and 1922. Sublicensed to Michigan Radio Corp. in 1922, sued by Westinghouse in 1923, ended up in March 1924 with Michigan as sales agency for Klitzen.
