Geschichte: |
United Reproducers Corporation already exists at least in 1922, most likely earlier, in Rochester, NY. Note: In an earlier version of this history we had shown that they existed at least since 1895. The source of that data is currently unknown. A company of the same name United Reproducers Corporation was incorporated in New Jersey, August 25, 1928, and acquired the entire business of Newcombe-Hawley, Inc. (organized in 1924), and the United Radio Corp. (organized in 1922). In May 1929, United Reproducers Corp. was formed (again under the same name) as a merger of United Reproducers Corp., Buckeye Incubator Co. and Precision Products Co. When United Reproducers went out of business by 1930/1931, their agent in Denmark, Skjold Petersen & Co. took over the Peerless name and brand. They later became Peerless Fabrikkerne A/S. |
