History unknown.
Nevhiz Işıl was born in İstanbul in 1913. He attended primary school in Istanbul and he completed middle school and high school in İzmir All-male High School. He graduated from Maximillenium University which is in Munich, Germany. His department was Chemical. He studied for doctorate in same university. After graduation, he came back to Turkey. He began studies as an assistant with German professor Brosch in Istanbul University. In 1944, he left university to establish a factory to produce chemical products. In 1951, he entired electronical industry and he founded the first Turkish Radio brand called Nevtron. When first Tv appeared in Turkey in 1971, Nevtron started to produce black and white Tv. Apart from that , Nevtron had made an agreement with German brand called Saba and then started to produce the Saba televisions as well. In 1983, started to cooparete with Siemens to manufacture color Television.
In 1988, he stepped aside from his trade life and he dedicated himself to charity works related with education. He gained two schools to Turkish education. |
