1926 Nel 1926, a Bologna, la famiglia Ducati ed altri investitori bolognesi fondano la Società Radio Brevetti Ducati, con l'intento di produrre industrialmente componenti per la nascente industria delle trasmissioni radio, basati su brevetti di Adriano Ducati. Il primo prodotto, il condensatore Manens per apparecchi radio, subito seguito da altri, ottiene un grande successo in tutto il mondo, permettendo subito all'azienda di espandersi velocemente e di conquistare il rispetto della comunità industriale internazionale. 1935 Il primo giugno 1935 viene posata la prima pietra dello stabilimento di Borgo Panigale. Un progetto modernissimo ed ambizioso con il dichiarato obiettivo di realizzare un polo industriale e tecnologico a Bologna. In questo periodo la Ducati si sviluppa ulteriormente all'estero e apre sedi e filiali a Londra, Parigi, New York, Sidney e Caracas assicurando un servizio e un'assistenza diretta ai propri Clienti in tutti i principali mercati mondiali. 1944 La Seconda Guerra Mondiale risulta fatale per gli stabilimenti di Borgo Panigale che vengono rasi al suolo nel 1944. Fortunatamente, per tutta la durata della guerra, i fratelli Ducati studiano e progettano nuovi prodotti da proporre sui mercati internazionali alla conclusione del conflitto.
