Riassunto: |
The Dulci Co. Ltd. Brand: Dulci Manufacturer of radios, and amplifier chassis from the late 1940s. This was followed by Hi-Fi amplifiers and tuners and the Dulci-Harting tape deck in 1957. They advertised “direct from the manufacturer” and all products were sold as chassis. The company was taken over by Lee Products (Great Britain) Ltd. in 1959, however, the Dulci factory continued to produce equipment under the Dulci brand. There does not seem to be any association with pre-WW2 retailer Dulci Electrical Co. |

Storia: |
On the 25th of June 1942, Wireless Patent 556 404 was accepted for a Two-way telephone installation also adapted to serve as a radio receiver for broadcast programs. They initially manufactured a range of radiogram chassis from 5-valves up to complex 7-valve units with an RF stage and push-pull output. [2] Around 1957 they added a range of 4 to 10 W power Hi-Fi amplifiers and pre-amplifiers chassis. [3] They added their amplifiers to the Dulci-Harting tape deck in 1957. The company was taken over by Lee Products (Great Britain) Ltd., in 1959 and continued to produce Dulci products into the late 1960s under the Dulci brand.[4] Under Lee Products, they went away from the chassis-only product into more complete units. [5] A 1970s Stereo Amplifier with the Dulci brand manufactured by Elizabethan Electronics Ltd. is known. [1] The Wireless Engineer Mar 1944, Page 126. |
