Geschichte: |
Peter Curtis was a former Royal Navy officer who founded Peter Curtis Ltd. in September 1923. It is unclear why he was involved with Wireless Agencies Ltd. for such a short period of time. It is possible that he was disillusioned with the company's management or with the quality of Radolion products. It is also possible that he simply decided to focus on his own company. In July 1923 both Wireless Agencies Ltd. and Radolion Manufacturing Co. Ltd. were liquidated. This is likely due to a number of factors, including the poor quality of Radolion products and the increasing competition in the radio market. [1][2] In the early 1920s, the radio market was rapidly growing and there were a number of new companies entering the market. This increased competition made it difficult for companies to survive, especially if they were producing low-quality products. [1] Electrical Review Jul 27, 1923, Page 184. |
