R.B.C. was a manufacturer of radios and also reseller for Philips, Telefunken, Sicer, Royalty, Blaupunkt, SBR, Tefag and other manufacturers.

The company also built radios with the brand Royal Record.

The Radio & Broadcasting Company was founded in on 1 Dec. 1925 in Luik / Liège. Founders were Jules Hamal and Charles Nagant (both in Luik), and the family Delvoie (in Tongeren).

On 13 June 1928 permission was granted to Radio Broadcasting Co. to operate a transmitter station for radiotelegraphy and radiotelephony.

A new company Radio Broadcasting Company was founded on 28 February by Emile-Paul-Hubert Delvoie, Alois van de Vyvere (Brussels), the Radio & Broadcasting Company, and a few other persons.

In 1932, RBC received permission to operate a cable radio installation, which was probably in use around Tongeren.

On 15 June 1933, the Radio Belgian Corporation was founded as a sister company.

On 8 Dec. 1934 another company was founded: Radio Belge de Construction. Founders were again the family Delvoie, represented by the Radio Belgian Corporation. They appeared as the manufacturer for RBC models.

Het Belang van Limburg writes on 18 Dec. 1934: "A young and very experienced group of radio engineers recently took the factory over and are going to distribute radios under the name 'La Radio Belge de Construction'."
