1976, Roadstar was known as a technology oriented Japanese company leading the car stereo market that invented, for instance, the Autoreverse Deck. To import and distribute Roadstar products in Europe, headquarter was established in Switzerland.
In 1983, the company increased its product range with audio and video products. At that time Roadstar was consolidating its position as a specialist in mobile audio and video. In the early 90's, at the beginning of the mobile phone era in Europe, Roadstar was one of the forerunners in the field of car mobile phones.
