New, modern production plant starts its existence in 1937. First radio made was 1938 Tungsram Orion-Triumf 404. After the WWII the company was nationalized and continued as TESLA, narodni podnik, Bratislava. Since 1962 it was the only radio production factory in Czechoslovakia. In 1966 its yearly production increased to 300,000 pcs. In 1990 went bankrupt.
