Company name until 1985 was 'Yokogawa Electrical Works Ltd.
Basically a manufacturer of measuring equipment. Since 1924 electromagnetic oscillographs. Their first Japanese portable electromagnetic oscillograph N-3 (1927) won honorable mention at an international technology fair in Belgium in 1930.
