Regarding the entry for "Radio Products Corp., The (Dayrad); Dayton or Newark. I believe there is evidence that the Dayrad product line was produced only by the Radio Products Company of Dayton, Ohio. An advertisement for a tube tester in the In Service magazine, March 1935, identifies The Radio Products Company (not Corporation) as being located at 125 Sunrise Place, Dayton, Ohio. There is much confusion about products provided by the various companies named with some variation of R.P.C. Those from Dayton come from the Radio Products Company of Dayton, Ohio. One variant of the Radio Products Corporation was created in 1929 in Newark/Hoboken, New Jersey. See Radion Broadcast Magazine, November 1929, p. 35. |

Hello Martin, One major error that has now been fixed was the confusion between Co. and Corp. between Dayton and Newark. We have also looked at RPM, RPC Chicago (Continental / Admiral) and a few other companies, updated those entries and moved a bunch of models to a new (and hopefully correct) home. There might still be a few models remaining that need to be moved. Feel free to have a look. Best regards |
