The Standard Radio & Telefon Company has been founded as a subsidiary of Standard Telephone & Cables Ltd., London, which itself was a subsidiary of I.T.T. in 1938 in Bromma, near Stockholm, Sweden. The company produced equipment for maritime mobile communications, later it became the main supplier of Swedish Armed Forces communications equipment, supplied shipboard and coastal radio equipment. |
