Torotor seems to has been one of the most important component supplier for the Danish radio industry.

Who can update the beginning of Torotor with details?
Actually we know only a little part of the late history:
Because of Torotor production for German weapon systems in WW2 the building was blown up on January 2nd 1945 by 32 members of the group "BOPA" (Borgerlige Partisaner), by using of 400kg explosives.
On the other hand, the 'Danish Standard' company (DS Certificering A/S, now at the same adress) tells that Torotor was liquidated only in about 1965(?).

Torotor FM-Tuner used in Austrian Radio 

Obviously the Austrian manufacturer HEA used a Torotor FM-Tuner for his first FM portable Trixi UKW built 1961/62.
