Company history taken from ominous-valve.com: "1953, the company name was changed to WRL Electronics, and then to Globe Electronics in 1956. In 1959, the company was sold to Textron. Meyerson continued in the retail radio business with World Radio, and then got back into manufacturing with Galaxy Electronics in 1962."
