Sperry Tube was a small division of the Sperry Gyroscope Company, later incorporated in the worldwide known Sperry Rand. Sperry Tube Division made only klystrons.

History:
Sperry Gyroscope Company underwrote the initial research on klystron devices at Stanford University, in return for exclusive patent rights. Also Sigurd and Russell Varian were working at the time with the research team. Eventually part of the Stanford researchers moved to the Sperry Laboratories on Long Island, NY.
