History:

Advertising in 1947 indicates the company had been in business for 25 years. [1]

They offered a range of wireless components in 1947 and by 1950 had added a comprehensive range of kits for home constructors which included Wireless World projects, test equipment, and the Televisor assembly. [2]

They advertised Mullard-designed kit set amplifiers and Mullard Stern Stereo designs in the late 1950s. [3]

In October 1963 Clyne Radio Ltd., Premier Radio, and Stern Radio Ltd., amalgamated under the name Stern-Clyne Ltd.  [4]

They opened a nationwide UK network of retail Electronic Centres in London, and regional cities with Bristol being their 7th outlet in November 1963.
