crosley: Crosley d-25gn with red clock ring

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has seen this version of the Crosley d-25gn. It has a red face ring around the clock and the typical gold ring around the radio dial face. The radio does not look modified in my opinion.

Any thoughts would be much appriciated

Dear Bill,

i´ve searched in all documents from Crosley that I have. All items have two golden rings. The red clock-ring must be modified.

The red ring in combination with the golden is possibly not the design of the 50th.

and thank's, I think you're right, I can't find anything either. Who ever did it, modified  it many years ago and was good at what he was doing,
